Installation requirements for industrial chillers:
1. Power supply
(1) The power supply of the chiller unit adopts three-phase four wire, with power lines (R, S, T) connected to the live wire, (N) connected to the neutral wire, and (G) grounded.
(2) The main power cord of the unit is connected to the electrical control box through a perforated connection on the connecting post inside the box to ensure a secure connection.
(3) Unit distribution requirements: Main power supply voltage: Within ± 10% of rated voltage
(4) When the voltage fluctuation of the main power supply exceeds the specified range, it is not allowed to start the chiller. Otherwise, it will be deemed as improper operation, and the damage caused by this is not within the maintenance scope of our company.
(5) When necessary, the interlocking circuits of the water flow switch, water pump, cooling tower motor, etc. in the water system can be correctly connected to the unit control circuit.
(6) The chiller unit is equipped with various measures such as current overload protection, high and low voltage protection at the compressor exhaust end, motor coil overheating protection, anti icing protection, and water flow interlock protection for cooling water. The control circuit is advanced. The control circuit of our company's chiller unit has been installed and debugged in the factory. Do not make unauthorized changes. If any changes are needed, please contact our company.
2. To ensure the safety and normal operation of the air conditioning system and prevent chiller malfunctions caused by improper water distribution pipeline construction, the following precautions should be taken when installing this unit:
(1) When lifting and installing the chiller, be careful not to damage the unit, and arrange the space around the chiller reasonably to facilitate maintenance and repair.
(2) According to the requirements of national standards for piping system design and construction installation, reasonably design and install frozen water and cooling water systems to fully utilize the performance of chillers.
(3) The unit should be placed horizontally and installed in a ventilated position.
(4) Choose a matching cooling tower based on the refrigeration capacity of the unit.
(5) Please refer to our company's recommended piping method for installation and construction of unit piping.
(6) When the environment around the water source and cooling tower is harsh, Y-shaped filters must be installed and cleaned regularly in the chilled water and cooling water circuits. Automatic exhaust valves must be installed at the highest point of the closed chilled water system, and drainage joints must be installed at the lowest point of the system for system drainage.
(7) After the leakage test of the chilled water pipeline system, it is wrapped with insulation layer to avoid cold loss and pipeline dripping.
